- Kumite-teams: min. 5 and max. 7 participants on each team
- Kata-team men: min. 3 and max. 4 participants on each team
- Kata-team women: min. 3 and max. 4 participants on each team

Information:
- If there are more than four fighters in a group, the tournament is organized after the WKF cup system (single elimination).
- If there are fewer than four fighters in a group, fights are organized as a Round Robin tournament.
- Fighters are drawn into groups on the day after registration and weigh-ins.
- Fight length for men and women is 3 min.
Equipment and requirements:
- Tooth guard and jock strap (not available to be borrowed).
- Normal karate uniform
- World Karate Federations rules will not be used to the equipment
